Sephora Give Me Some Nude Lip Set Review, Photos, Swatches

I came across this set and instantly knew I needed it! First of all, the box is absolutely adorable, and I'm a sucker for packaging. It has a great selection of both shades and formulas. I'm not sure if it's still available on the site, but if so, you definitely need to check it out!

Give Me Some Nude Lip

From left: Laura Mercier Milky Way, Marc Jacobs Prim,
Nudestix Whisper, Nars Dolce Vita
Bottom: Tarte Namaste

Laura Mercier Milky Way Creme Smooth Lipstick in Milky Way
This color is a bit too brown-toned for my taste, but the formula is very nice. Good for fair to fair/medium skintones.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Mini Outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Prim(Rose)
A medium/dark dusty rose; good for skintones from fair to medium/dark.

Nudestix Lip + Cheek Crayon in Whisper

Has a bit more sheen than the Marc Jacobs pencil and is more pink. Good for fair to fair/medium skintones.

Nars Dolce Vita Lipstick in Dolce Vita
A sheer, shiny lipstick, which could work for any skintone.

Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste Nude

Goes on in a cream/mousse and dries down. Good for fair to medium skintones.

I personally think that only the Nars would be a good natural nude for darker skintones, so keep that in mind. I think it's an especially sheer rosy pink-red that would look amazing on everybody. They're all great shades but will be lighter/more stark on those skintones. I wish they would come out with a set that would be better suited for dark ladies!

I do believe that the Nars lipstick is full-sized, since it's the same size as one of my other Nars lipsticks. The Laura Mercier may be, too. The others are mini but not too mini sizes. It's a great way not only to sample nudes, but the formulas of different products as well.
