Empire State Of Mind: Adventures In NYC for Bridal Fashion Week

4:59:00 PM

April 18-22 was our time in New York City for Bridal Fashion Week. We stayed in Midtown Manhattan, which is within walking distance to pretty much everything- Central Park, Times Square, Trump Tower, and all that cool jazz. We did quite a lot of exploring, and out of all the places, Midtown and Upper East Side are probably still my favorite. There was so much to see and take in, and I probably took way too many photos.
(btw, here's my full trip album on Facebook.)

The shows and gowns were amazing. We started off on Thursday with a David's Bridal walkthrough.

David's is on top of the 20's theme this year.
This back was my favorite.

Fit for Daisy.

There were a lot of shows, but also market, which had some amazing looks as well. Again, you can tell that the 20's Gatsby theme is definitely in- and I'm not complaining.
I was instantly drawn over to the sparkles.
I can't help it.

Didn't catch the designer's name, but these
were fantastic.

In love with this one from Madeleine Fig with
a vintage pillbox hat. Magical.

Intuzuri details.
There are so many photos that putting even a fraction up here would take over the entire blog, so go check out my Facebook album I linked if you want to see more photos from NYC and runways.

Reem Acra was my favorite show- the Spring 2014 collection
was whimsical and to die for.

Parasols redefined, classic shapes, and amazing illusion backs.
Absolutely loved the shows and the trends for the season.

And, of course, here's my NYC playlist.
Diet Mountain Dew, Baby, New York City
Want You To See Everything, Want You To See All Of The Lights
One Hand In The Air For The Big City
Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of, There's Nothing You Can't Do
This Could Be Para, Para, Paradise.
I Think I Like, Living Upside Down
And If The Lights Are All Out, I’ll Follow Your Bus Downtown, See Who’s Hanging Out
Let's Dance In Style, Let's Dance For A While.
Baby You Don't Have To Live Your Life In Fear, And The Sky Is Clear, Is Clear Of Fear
Dressed To The Nines, With Hair To Match. Shiny Jewels, Casino Cash.

I'll probably remember some perfect, brilliant song after I've posted this. Sigh.
